Yoga Retreat Almeria, Spain 20 - 27 Sept 2025
The Almeria yoga venue is on the edge of one of Europe’s most remote and beautiful natural parks, the Cabo de Gata, one of the last unspoiled stretches of Spanish coastline. It’s an amazing landscape of perfect half-moon bays, hidden coves, bizarre volcanic rock formations, and spectacular flora and fauna – a wonderful wild coastline, which you will have seen more times than you think as the backdrop in many films including Indiana Jones, Lawrence of Arabia, and Sergio Leone’s famous spaghetti westerns!
The Almeria yoga venue is in a peaceful, isolated location, but within walking distance of the lovely traditional local village, which can be seen across the valley at the foot of the spectacular mountain backdrop. Standard rooms are twinshare. Upgrade to sole occupancy with supplement when available.
Cordoba, Granada & Madrid
Our trip will begin in the Cordoba, to enjoy Moorish architecture, Turkish baths and Spanish Equestrian. We will then travel by local train to Almeria. There are many exciting towns to visit in Southern Spain, but I will look forward to re-visiting Granada. The Alhambra, a medieval Nasrid citadel and palace, is located is one of the most famous monuments of Islamic Architecture and one of the most visited tourist sites in Spain.

Cost summary
There are various different room options (single/doubles/triples +/- shared or private bathroom), which determine price. I will confirm price with room booking. Basic twinshare £850GBP (~$1700)+ $850AUD for yoga and admin. Single supplement (£130 GBP when available).

Includes:
Accommodation, meals (- one dinner out at local restaurant), use of yoga shala and facilities
Min 5 hours of Yoga classes daily with one rest day for a day walk
Excludes:
International flights & onground transport (train, taxi's)
Accomodation and expenses either side of retreat and trips during retreat – ie. Cordoba, Granada & Madrid.
*For addtitional fees I can organize accomodation and transport
Meal out in local restaurant/ bar during the middle of retreat.
Travel insurance (compusory) – also that covers in the event of injury, travel delays and cancellations *note my professional indemnity insurance does not cover retreats.

Free time can be spent reading, wandering around the beautiful countryside, meditating, working on your Eurotan poolside....
Cancellation Policy:
Initial to deposit to confirm spot on retreat $300 non-refundable, unless in the event of cancellation by the organizer
Further payments (excluded initial $300) refundable by negotiation up until 6months pre-retreat if replacement participant is found. Up to 25% of further payments non-refundable.
Between 6 - 3months pre-retreat refundable by negotiation if replacement participant is found. Up to 50% of further payments non-refundable.
Less than 3 months pre-retreat - all payments non-refundable.
We settle our bills with retreat venue in 3 months in advance. Given the international nature of retreat and unlikelihood of filling spot at last minute, payments are non-refundable after this time. Thank you for your understanding.
